Take your Cuban dance to the next level with our intensive in Amsterdam! Get ready for an 8-hour weekend dedicated to Casino (Cuban Salsa) and Timba, designed for dancers who wish to incorporate greater musicality and fluidity in their dance, through both theoretical and practical elements.

What to expect?
Saturday 11th
• Learn how to identify the musical structure of a song. This will help you synchronize your movements with the music, adapting dance figures and elements to musical phrases in a harmonious and fluid way.
When we talk about the ABCs of Casino style, we are referring to the essential tools you need to master to dance with confidence and precision.
This workshop is designed to provide you with a solid foundation, preparing you to explore and fully enjoy this dance style.
Sunday 12th
• We'll dive into Afro-Cuban dance, focusing on the Yoruba tradition (Orishas). You will learn to identify key rhythms and vocabularies that represent these Orishas. This understanding will be your bridge to recognize these elements present in Timba songs, helping you dance with greater fluidity and synchronization.
• Rumba Guaguancó. Learn the dynamic game of conquest between man and woman, allowing you to incorporate this playful and authentic spirit into your movements, enriching your dance style. You will then be able to integrate it as a rhythmic and expressive resource in your dancing, as the 2x3 clave is present in most Timba songs.
• Authentic dynamic figures blended with Afro-Cuban essence and an environment full of energy and passion!
• Personalized feedback and practical tips to improve your style, technique and expression.
