About this Event

Building on successful summits in 2024 and 2025 that each convened 500+ attendees and a roster of high-level leaders, the 2026 "From Billions to Trillions" summit will explore how to reduce the risks that constrain energy and climate finance.
Key topics will include:

  • Scaling energy for AI demand
  • Addressing clean energy finance gaps
  • Roles of trade, competition, and industrial policy in clean energy deployment
  • Navigating political risks to energy and climate finance
  • Risks and opportunities for investing in low- and middle-income countries

  • Sarah Bloom Raskin, Colin W. Brown Distinguished Professor of the Practice of Law, Duke University (former Deputy Secretary, U.S. Office of the Treasury)
  • Ronnie Chatterji, Chief Economist, OpenAI and Mark Burgess & Lisa Benson-Burgess Distinguished Professor of Business and Public Policy, Duke University
  • Allison Clements, President, 804 Advisory and Partner, ASG (former Commissioner, Federal Energy Regulatory Commission)

  • Frank Van Gansbeke, Co-Founder, Beyond Bretton Woods and Executive Scholar in Residence, Middlebury College

New format this year:

This year’s program will feature plenary discussions and interactive breakout sessions, all designed to generate ideas about pragmatic pathways for action. Participants from diverse sectors will examine risk across the climate finance landscape and help shape a forward-looking agenda for research, policy, and practice. A networking reception will follow the program at 4 p.m.
