From Arneis to Barolo: Wine Class Cascina Bongiovanni
About this Event
Join us for a special wine class dedicated entirely to the Langhe, one of Italy’s most celebrated wine regions.
Special guest Valentina Giordano will guide us through six wines from Cascina Bongiovanni, beginning with Arneis, one of Piedmont’s most distinctive white grapes, and finishing with Barolo, traditionally known as the king of wines.
Cascina Bongiovanni is a small, family-run estate founded in 1950 by Giovanni Bongiovanni. Today, the winery is led by his grandson, Davide Mozzone, who continues the family tradition from the heart of the Langhe, only a short distance from Alba.
During the class, we will explore how the grapes, soils, vineyard locations, and winemaking choices shape six different expressions of the Langhe.
We will begin with the freshness and elegance of Arneis, then move through the traditional red varieties of the region before reaching Nebbiolo and Barolo.
This is not simply a tasting. It is a complete journey through the Langhe, from the queen of Piedmont whites to the king of wines.
New option: Take a bottle home!
Upgrade your ticket and leave with a bottle from the standard selection presented during the class.
