🍷 Where Wine Began: A Journey Through the Cradle of Wine
Long before France, Italy or Spain became synonymous with fine wine, the lands stretching from Anatolia through the Caucasus to ancient Persia were already shaping the history of viticulture.
Thousands of years of history, exploring wines from Turkey, Georgia, Armenia, and an extraordinary project made from Iranian grape varieties vinified in Armenia—a reminder that wine traditions often transcend modern borders.
Together we'll discover indigenous grape varieties, ancient winemaking techniques and the cultures that have preserved them for millennia. From clay qvevri buried beneath the earth to innovative contemporary producers, each wine reveals another chapter in the story of one of the world's oldest wine regions.
