2 ADA CE Hours will be provided!
This event will focus on the latest accessibility standards, including the prescriptive requirements for accessible restroom design mandated by the ADA and the changes in the ICC A117.1-2017 for both existing and new buildings. Participants will learn about accessible lavatories, restroom accessories, and toilet compartments, as well as the requirements for accessible bathing facilities.
The event will also address the hygiene challenges post-COVID-19, providing insights on virus transmission, cleaning, disinfecting practices, and strategies to maximize hygiene in commercial and public restrooms.
At the end, there will be a vendor roundtable to discuss design and product strategies for optimizing accessibility and hygiene.
