Listen, do you hear it? The sounds of spring!
About this Event

Come and discover the common Ontario frog and toad species as we celebrate their spring emergence! Become a community scientist! Take a walk with us, listen for amphibians, and report any findings on iNaturalist.

Meeting location is at the parking lot within Small Arms Inspection Building (1352 Lakeshore Rd E, Mississauga).

This program is FREE and generously supported by Peel Region!

Family Nature Program (Ages 6+)

  • Beginner level information
  • Activities and concepts that are friendly for all ages
  • Intended audience includes children, youth and adult
  • Children must be accompanied by adults
  • Please leave pets at home, except for service animals

Be Prepared

  • The program will take place outdoors, please dress appropriately for the weather.
  • There are no washrooms on site.
  • Bring a personal water bottle and snacks if needed.
  • Download iNaturalist app!
