MARIO DUBBZ

Oakland born and Bay Area raised, Mario Dubbz came up in the region's warehouse party scene of the late '90s and early 2000s, where a lifelong connection to underground house music took shape. Known for versatile sets that move effortlessly across the deeper corners of house, he adapts to the energy of each dance floor rather than sticking to one formula.

A regular fixture in the Oakland and San Francisco scene, Mario has shared lineups with artists including Roy Davis Jr., Derrick Carter, Mark Farina, Miguel Migs, David Harness, Kenny Dope, and Gene Farris, while also playing in cities such as Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, Barcelona, and beyond.

As a producer, his music has landed on labels including Soul Camp Music, Dufflebag, Good For You Records, Juiced, Latenight Jackin, Jacked Out Trax, Beat Bum Music, FunkyFarm SF, House 4 Life, and Greenhouse Recordings. He's also preparing to relaunch his own imprint, Housewarming Music.

Outside the booth, Mario is a promoter and graphic designer whose flyers and branding have become a recognizable part of the Bay Area underground. Together with his wife, Heather B, he co-produces community-focused events including Tiki Funk, Rollin Deep, and It's a Lovely Day, showcasing local talent alongside select guest artists.

Da FUNKTEKS

Dafunkteks is a Bay Area DJ and producer duo made up of longtime friends The Operator and VTEK, united by a shared passion for house music, hip-hop, and turntablism. Their journey began behind the turntables, where years of scratching, mixing, and digging for music evolved into producing original tracks and creative remixes that reflect their signature sound.

Known for blending funky grooves, soulful vocals, underground house, and classic influences, Dafunkteks delivers energetic DJ sets that keep dance floors moving from start to finish. Their seamless mixing, technical turntable skills, and ability to read the crowd create an unforgettable experience at every event.

Beyond the club, Dafunkteks continues to expand their sound through original music productions and remixes, bringing fresh ideas while staying true to the timeless elements of house music. Whether performing live or creating in the studio, their mission is simple: unite people through music and keep the groove alive.

DA Operator

Da Operator Cofounder and member of Dafunkteks music duo, Andres has been operating the 1's and 2's since the age of 12. At the age of 18 he began DJaying professionally at nightclubs and underground parties in SF, San Jose, San diego, and LA. Rockin party after party for the last 20 + years with his infectious funky deep house grooves. Currently he is working on new house music projects with his partner in crime DJ V-tek along with hosting and performing every friday night at 6pm Dafunkteks livestream show on twitch and mixcloud.

DJ VTEK

DJ VTEK (Veasna) is a Bay Area DJ and co-founder of the house music duo Dafunkteks, alongside longtime friend and creative partner The Operator. With roots as a turntablist and hip-hop DJ, Veasna developed a passion for technical mixing, scratching, and creating memorable sets that keep crowds engaged.

Inspired by the roots of house music, DJ VTEK blends funky house, jackin’ house, tech house, and underground grooves into energetic sets designed to keep people dancing. Together, DJ VTEK and The Operator share a passion for authentic house music, delivering performances that celebrate the culture, energy, and connection found on the dance floor.
