Gather your fellow witches, warlocks, and magical makers for an evening of spellbinding creativity! In this bewitching workshop, you'll craft a Halloween-inspired pendant or charm from copper or bronze metal clay. Create a mischievous black cat, spooky ghost, fluttering bat, grinning jack-o'-lantern, bubbling potion bottle, crescent moon, enchanted broom, or another delightfully eerie design.
You'll learn the magical process of shaping, texturing, and adding enchanting details before your creation is transformed by fire into solid metal—no cauldron required! No experience is necessary, just a pinch of imagination and a love for Halloween fun.
Come dressed in your favorite witchy attire if you dare, bring your best ghoul friends, and prepare for an evening filled with laughter, creativity, and a little bit of magic. You'll leave with a hauntingly beautiful piece of handmade jewelry that's sure to put a spell on everyone who sees it.

Fingernail Moon Jewelry Studio is in FAVO - Faith Arts Village Orlando - a vintage 1950s era motel that has been converted into artist studios. Just off Colonial Drive/Highway 50 near I-4, we are conveniently located at the north end of downtown Orlando. Using the addres 718 Highland Ave. you will arrive at the outer parking lot. To enter the facility, turn north on Highland from Colonial, there is a stoplight, and enter the second driveway on the left, through a black fence. You will see a sign that says "Park Lake Presbyterian Church, FAVO Art Studios". Proceed through the parking lot to the far right and rear and on through the driveway connecting to a second parking lot. You will see an L-shaped building with colorful doors - that's us! I am studio 237, second from the end upstairs on the right. Look for the moons!

Class 1
Info: During the first part of this class we will learn about metal clay and how to use it. Students will decide which clay they want to use (copper or bronze) and their designs. There will be about 2 hours to create the pieces and allow them to dry. In the last hour, we will learn how to refine the pieces and prepare them to be fired. The pieces will be fired by the instructor during the week and will be ready for the second class.

Class 2
Info: Pieces will be fired and solid metal for the second class. At this point they will need to be finished, polished and a patina added if desired. This process may take less than the allotted 3 hours. When complete, you will have frighteningly gorgeous Halloween jewelry to take home!
