FRIGHT GALLERY: THE SEVEN DEADLY SINSWelcome art lovers. We offer, for your approval, a gallery of encompassing horror. A profusion of dark and macabre artists will devour the walls with visions of terror. Welcome to FRIGHT GALLERY.
Fright Gallery is a one-night-only, pop up art gallery made for lovers of dark art. The gallery features local dark and horror artists and is one of the only horror/dark art events of its kind in Austin.
The gallery theme for our 7th installment of Fright Gallery, is The Seven Deadly Sins. Every one of our Featured Artists will be creating a new piece based on one of the Sins. They will be unveiling it for the first time at the gallery and displaying it along with more of their art.

LIVE ART SET: 7 ARTISTS. 7 SINS. 30 MIN.

Each artist in the live demo will open a sealed envelope right before the set. Inside that envelope will give them one of the seven Deadly Sins. Then they will create a piece, in a timed 30 min set, while the DJs perform a live score. Come have a seat and watch this mesmerizing performance.

INSTALLATION: THE 7 PRINCES SCULPTURE GARDEN

In demonology, there are seven Princes of Hell that represent each Deadly Sin. We are inviting artists/teams to create a sculpture based on each demon and showcased in the outdoor courtyard area. Artists/teams do not have to be one of our official artists showing. Opening up this challenge for all. Interested artists/teams should contact us with their idea.

THE VENUE

This year's gallery will take place at the historic Baker School in Hyde Park. It was opened in 1911 and served as an elementary, middle and high school and as an AISD headquarters. It was purchased by Tim & Karrie League (Alamo Drafthouse) in 2017 and now serves as an office space for local businesses.
Fright Gallery will take place in the gymnasium, in the hallways (with the original lockers) and in an outdoor courtyard.
Parking is free in the two lots of the building and along the street.
