Friern Barnet Repair Cafe and reuse workshops

Join us on Sunday, from 11am to 1pm at the Friern Barnet Community Library for a day dedicated to fixing, creating, and reusing! Our monthly Repair Cafe is completely free and the ideal spot to bring your broken items for our talented repairers to fix. Whether it's small electrical devices, bikes, or textiles, we have you covered.

Alongside the repair activities, we will be running two reuse workshops where you can discover innovative ways to repurpose items and cut down on waste. All materials will be provided and workshops are suitable for both kids and adults.

Additionally, we will host a swap or take event for kids' toys, books and household paints. Even if you don’t have anything to swap, you’re welcome to take what you need.

This is a fantastic chance to connect with like-minded people and help build a more sustainable community. Don’t miss this enjoyable and informative event!

We’ll have free refreshments available, so come along for a cuppa and a friendly chat.

Parking is free outside the library and on nearby streets. The library is accessible with step-free access and has accessible toilets equipped with baby changing facilities. There’s also a small play area for children.
