Join your fellow FriendsInTheir40s Members as we come together to celebrate all there is to Friendship, Women, and Connection.
Currently I am leaning towards having the meal catered so everyone would pay in advance, the same ticket price. I will ONLY be charging the exact amount it would cost and everyone attending would split the meal evenly.
We will have a game night to go along with our meal and for those interested - a 1980’s style sleepover and we can let our hair down and get into some shenanigans (my favorite word 😜
For those coming from another location, I would be very interested in renting an air bnb that we could all split to stay there or to just have the entire event at a rental overnight- it’s cheaper than a hotel, we could use it for the whole event and we could have a Friendsgiving Sleepover for anyone interested.
Right now I need you to please RSVP going if you are for sure coming so I can get a head count. Once I have a head count I’ll research the catered meal option and air bnb options (I’d love us to start getting one for our events so those coming from out of town could stay for the suprise after event and we’d have a private place where everyone attending the event could congregate after.
Please leave me your thoughts on that - as in November it will be in Oshkosh but one weekend it will be in Green Bay or Madison and we can get a place with a pool and some fun offerings.
There will be prizes at Friendsgiving and we will also be drawing for a White Elephant Gift Exchange to take place at our Christmas Event (on a day other than Christmas).
I hope we see everyone there!
Also Oshkosh Food Co-Op would only be able to manage 43 of us , so if we have more than 43 coming we will need to find a second location to rent. Please get your RSVP in as soon as possible - and I hope you all enjoy your day!

I think our next order of business is going to be coming up with a Board to start making decisions on things for our group (a post will be made in the private group about this so if you have not already joined the actual FB Group - please do so.
