This month, we're prepping both our neighborhood and Baum Grove to SHINE for our big event happening May 11th, the Friendship Flower & Folk Festival! In addition to litter pick-up, volunteers are also invited to join us at Baum Grove for weeding, gingko berry clean-up, and other light gardening assistance. Pick whichever task you'd like!The monthly litter pick-up starts at Baum Grove parklet (behind the Aldi on Baum Blvd.) every 1st Saturday of the month, April through November*, beginning at 10 am. At the Baum Grove check-in, you'll pick up your supplies and get your block assignments. This is a family-friendly community volunteer opportunity, so be sure to bring those kiddos along too!
Rain Date will always be the Sunday of the same weekend.
*Please note that in lieu of June's monthly litter pick-up, we will be collaborating with the Bloomfield-Garfield Corporation for a special event: The Penn Avenue Litter Pick-Up! Please see event link for details.
