Friendship Circle - Reno

This will be a very simple, fun, and friendly event, during which every attendee will get to meet every other attendee!

This will be a completely non-discriminatory event, during which we’ll put aside all of our differences and interact peacefully with each other regardless of our differences in age, ethnic background, gender, appearance, ability, opinions, and beliefs.

This event will be ideal for anyone who likes the idea of making a few new friends!

MEETING LOCATION: The address and map shown by Eventbrite is the closest place to our meeting location that their map-system recognizes. However, it may not be completely accurate. Therefore, please use the following address and map link:

Address: West Keystone Trailhead, Keystone Avenue, Reno, NV 89523. We’ll meet at the far end of the parking area by the trailhead. Meeting location on Google Maps:

PARKING: There’s free parking at the trailhead.

START TIME: 6:00 PM Local Time

END TIME: 7:00 PM

EVENT COST: This is a free event. Donations are welcome.

PLEASE ARRIVE ON TIME: Shortly after the start time, we'll walk a short distance to our friendship circle location. If you arrive late, there'll be no practical way for you to catch up and find us. So please plan to arrive about 10 minutes early!

HEALTH PRECAUTIONS: If you have a sore throat, runny nose, or any other cold/flu-like symptoms, please do not attend. Thank you very much for your understanding and kindness!

OUTDOORS: This is an outdoors event.

WALKING: From our meeting location, we'll walk for a couple of minutes along a hiking trail. Basic levels of fitness/agility will be required.

STANDING: During this event, you’ll be standing while you meet and talk to people. If you prefer not to stand, please a camping mat, yoga mat, tarp, or blanket to sit on. I don’t recommend bringing chairs because we’re going to be moving around a lot, and chairs might end up being too cumbersome.

WHAT TO BRING: Towards the end of the day, temperatures might drop quite quickly. Therefore, please bring some very warm layers. Appropriate foot-wear for walking on dirt hiking trails. Water.

OPTIONAL ITEMS TO BRING: Natural-ingredient insect repellant (with no DEET or toxic chemicals). Insect-repellant clothing and netted hat. Insect-proof netted tent. Thermal clothing from a camping store. Gloves, a hat, or a balaclava.

PLEASE DON'T BRING: Drugs, cigarettes, vapes, alcohol, weapons, fishing equipment, hunting equipment, or any products designed to K*ll insects.

SIGNAL STRENGTH: Sometimes, our events take place in remote locations with very weak or no cell-phone signal. Therefore, please photograph or screenshot all of the details for this event, including the map, before travelling.

WEATHER: Even if rain is forecast, the event will most likely still proceed. If it’s raining heavily at the start of the event, we’ll wait in our vehicles to see if the rain stops!

CHILDREN: This event is intended for people who are at least 18 years old. Children may attend, but they should stay with their parents/guardians at all times.

GUESTS/PETS: You're welcome to bring friends or guests with you! No pets please.
