Join Studio Mell for a Friendsgiving-themed Paint and Sip! Grab your friends, your roommates, or your coworkers and spend your Friday night painting together in our new art studio and creative space. Coming on your own? That's okay too, because this is a great way to meet some new friends before the holidays.

Studio Mell's founder Morgan will be leading the night and walking everyone through the painting step by step, so no experience is needed. If you can hold a brush and laugh at yourself a little, you're ready!

Studio Mell was started in 2018 by graphic designer and illustrator Morgan Elliott Phillips. She founded Studio Mell as a way to help non-profits, small businesses, and solo-entrepreneurs brand their businesses and show up consistently (and looking good!). Over the years, Morgan continued to work with those same individuals to bring publications, children's books, paint parties, and mobile applications to life for her clients. The fun doesn't stop there, because in 2026, she opened her first art studio to expand the creative studio beyond the many emails and zoom calls.

Paint and Sip runs from 6:30 to 9pm. Your canvas, paint, brushes, and apron are all provided, along with snacks and light fare. Paint and Sip is an adults-only BYOB event, so bring along whatever you'd like to sip on, whether that's wine, a fun mocktail, sparkling water, or your favorite tea. Anyone bringing alcohol must be 21 or older. Our studio space is temperature controlled and parking is free. All you need to do is show up ready to create (in something you don't mind getting a little paint on)!
