JJ & The Mystics
Blending the spirit of Hendrix, Marley, and soul music’s enduring power, JJ & The Mystics deliver a dynamic fusion of blues, rock, reggae, funk, and roots. Led by Austin-based singer, songwriter, and guitarist JJ Raschel, the band is known for high-energy performances that pair soulful musicianship with infectious grooves and a message of connection, resilience, and joy.
Following the release of their 2022 EP, Soul Tribe, produced by Edgewater Music Group and distributed through The Orchard, JJ & The Mystics return with their fully fan-funded album, Mystic Roots, released Friday, September 25, 2026.
With a sound that moves effortlessly between gritty guitar work, rhythmic drive, and heartfelt songwriting, JJ & The Mystics create music that invites audiences to dance, reflect, and share in the moment.
JJ & The Mystics — music for the journey, from joy and pain to love, triumph, and everything in between.
JFI
In his journey from guitar playing frontman to DJ and live vocalist, JFI has made transformation his anthem. In this triumphant return to his hometown, Dallas, Texas, J brings his storied experience as songwriter and performer once again to Poor David's for the first time in over ten years.
Covering topics of manifestation and the fulfillment of one's own personal legend, JFI's songs of love and divine consciousness ignite the artist within. Experience an incredible evening of loving transformation from the chaos of everyday life to freedom in balance: boldness to bring peace, bravery to be oneself, and vulnerability to authenticity. Uniting once again with his childhood best friend, Gustavo Monsante (opening act), JFI and friends deliver a night of CELEBRATION in an unforgettable Friday Friendsgiving event.
Gustavo Monsante
Gustavo E. Monsante is a Peruvian-born American citizen who writes Latin infused acoustic songs of love and self-exploration. He playfully tackles topics of selfishness, loneliness, and the discovery of belonging in his profound but light compositions. Armed with a nylon acoustic guitar and a disarming way of telling stories, Gustavo sneaks past our defenses and into our hearts with his honest way of seeing the world. A painter, spiritual leader, and educator, Gustavo is always on the brighter side of life, and helps everyone in his vicinity do the same. Catch the peace, love, and understanding of this beautiful man in his enchanting set Friday, Nov. 20th!
