For our October Friends4Lunch event, we are hitting a new restaurant in Lincoln: Slim Chickens, park of Midwest Slims, LLC. on Thursday, Oct. 8 at 11:30 a.m.
Slim Chicken’s mission is to make the best hand-breaded chicken tenders using only the freshest ingredients, served in a friendly atmosphere where guests can relax and feel at home. Their timetested recipe has become a household favorite, locking in flavor with their southern-style buttermilk marinade, and lightly breaded by hand with every order.
The Slims menu features fried or grilled chicken tenders, wings, salads, wraps, sandwiches, chicken & waffles, southern sides, and their famous jar desserts. Slims menu features some non-traditional sides including Fried Okra, Fried Pickles, Fried Mushrooms and a variety of SWEET & flavored iced teas!
These events provide a casual setting for guests, business owners or anyone else to learn more about the Lincoln business and nonprofit scene as well as Strictly Business as a publication.
We cannot wait to connect with all of you! These events are completely free to attend. All you will pay for is what you eat and drink. With that being said, we are very lucky to be able to host these monthly networking events. So if you come every month, or you’re a first timer for Friends4Lunch, anyone who likes doing great things in Lincoln, is invited!
