Join us at the Chihuahuan Desert Nature Park on Saturday, August 10th for some outdoor trail work! Team up with a group of fellow outdoor enthusiasts and help us maintain the park's trails and facilities. Each workday will also have an educational aspect, such as plant & animal identification, native plant relocation, wildlife study methods, principles of trail-making, and more.
Please be prepared for light-to-moderate physical activity and bring weather-appropriate clothing, sunscreen and water. Pit restrooms will be available.
The Chihuahuan Desert Nature Park is owned and operated by the non-profit Asombro Institute for Science Education. It is free for the public to visit and open year-round.
