? Join us in the Cairns Festival Grand Parade! ??CAFNEC & Cairns Bat and Trees Soc, Rising Tide FNQ and Australian Marine Conservation Society FNQ are teaming up to bring the spirit of Far North Queensland’s biodiversity to the streets — and we want YOU to be part of it!
We’re looking for fun-loving folks of all ages to get dressed up and join our float in the Cairns Festival Grand Parade on Saturday 30th August. Whether you’re a tree frog, cassowary, reef fish, or flying fox at heart — we want you on board!
CAFNEC has a colourful collection of costumes made and donated over the years, or you’re welcome to bring your own!
Kids are welcome — this is a family-friendly celebration of the incredible nature we’re all working to protect.
Let’s show Cairns what community-powered conservation looks like!
