Friends of Cedarvale's Community of Practice: Session 1
About this Event
After a successful launch event in early June with over 50 people joining our first Community Walk, we are so excited to launch the first session of the Community of Practice.
We've heard from many neighbours that they want more spaces to connect, share ideas, and think together about the future of Cedarvale Park and Ravine, so we’re making it happen. This time, we're getting together in smaller groups, so there's more room for connection and hands-on activities together.

Thinking Ahead
This pilot is the start of a larger goal, building a process model for community building in parks that other neighbourhoods and friends of parks across Toronto can adapt.
The City of Toronto has expressed interest in this project, and generously provided a small honorarium to help get it off the ground. We're grateful for their support and continuing to explore ways to partner as this grows.
