Friends of Cantonment Hill Community Planting Day

Join us for a community planting day at Dwerda Weelardinup (Cantonment Hill) as we work together to restore threatened Honey Myrtle habitat. Everyone is welcome – families, kids, and community members of all ages.
Date: Saturday 13 June
Time: 9.00 to 11.30 am
Please arrive at 8.45 am to allow time for parking and walking to the meeting point
Place: Signal Station (Fremantle Marine Rescue)
Parking: Tuckfield St (walk to Signal Station)
Bring: Gloves, buckets, and trowels
Wear: Closed shoes/boots with tread, as parts of the hill are steep and rocky.
Other: Sunscreen, water, and hat are also recommended. And possibly a raincoat!
Morning tea will be provided.
The Inspiring Youth Stewardship for Noongar Boodja project is coordinated by Perth NRM, The Friends of Cantonment Hill and the City of Fremantle. This project is supported by funding from the Western Australian Government’s State NRM Program.
