Friends of Bolton Priory support the activities of the beautiful and historic church of Bolton Priory, set in the heart of the Yorkshire countryside.The Christmas Outing 2025 is to Auckland Palace where “Christmas at the Palace” showcases the remarkable interiors at Bishop Auckland Palace, complete with stunning artworks and furnishings, as they are transformed into a Winter Wonderland. Traditional decorations in winter-warming tones with a twist of golden opulence grace the historic palace, befitting of the Prince Bishops who once ruled from this ancient seat of power. You will also have the opportunity to see the magnificent 18th Century Neapolitan Nativity on show in the newly
opened Faith Museum. All this plus Tea/Coffee and Mince Pies are included in the ticket price of £40.00 per person. The coach will depart from Bolton Abbey Village Car
Park at 9am, and will return around 6pm. Tickets are available from Sunday, 12th October onwards in the Tower at Bolton Priory after the 10.30am service or from
FOBP committee members.
