Do you love gardens and plants? Would you like to extend your knowledge of botany and also link up with some like-minded plant enthusiasts?FIG Day is an exciting new event where you can learn more about the Garden's volunteering programs from the volunteers themselves.
The below volunteer activities will start near our main entrance (opposite the playground) and will be scattered along the main path of the Garden up to the Towri Centre.

- Plant Propagation
- Willing Weeders
- Budding Bookworms
- Education & Event Support
- Botanic Art & Photography
And for an added bonus, when you drop into chat to the volunteers about these activities on FIG Day, you'll receive a free plant from our Super Saturday Plant Sale (2 November 2024, 730am-230pm).
