On this 3.5 mile hike we welcome those of all genders, whether related by blood or chosen family, to enjoy time together in the outdoors and celebrate the people important to us.
Located in Murrysville, Pleasant Valley Park is 262 acres. Hiking through a verdant forest on well-maintained trails, we will find our way down to Rowan Run in search of Spring wildflowers. Here there is a half mile section of trail that weaves its way back and forth across the water 12 times! These are relatively easy stream crossings through shallow water. Please wear waterproof mid height hiking shoes, bring water shoes to change into for this section, or be prepared to have wet feet for the second half of the hike.
