THE SHIP ON AUGUST 9th- Kansas City heavy hitters, Friendly Thieves and Lava Dreams unite to throw a double release party for the AGES with special guests Rudy Love & The Encore, and DJ Stevie Cruz.

Fresh off their barn-burning set at the Boulevardia Main Stage, KC funk bastions Friendly Thieves are prepared to bring the "liquid grit" to celebrate their new release of tunes sure to hit you in your groove center like a Mack truck full of disco balls!

They are set to share the stage with Lava Dreams, an electric figure in the alternative pop scene, who has entranced Kansas City with their dreamy vocals and vulnerable lyrics. Lava Dreams joins the bill to celebrate the release of their new single "Your Warrior", an intimate piece certain to make for a special live performance!

The sure-to-be unforgettable evening will be kicked off by Rudy Love & The Encore- a Wichita funk outfit, formed to honor and carry on the legacy of late renowned R&B performer Rudy Love Sr., that has made waves for their compulsive grooves and unyielding energy.
