Frida’s will be curating a mushroom themed painting afternoon for all ages!
Parents/carers and kids can paint alongside one another at this interactive and engaging afternoon of learning to paint mushrooms.
Frida's is 100% Tasmanian founded and owned, something they are really proud of!
Their Launceston studio opened in December 2021 and since then, they have employed 27 local Tasmanian artists to work in our studio.
They are Launceston's only BYO paint and sip studio! Guests can bring whatever they want (food and drinks) to enjoy while they paint, glassware provided.
Frida’s pride themselves on providing a luxe but inclusive setting and an interactive, fun environment. Their slogan is "We're all about fun art, not fine art!" - providing guests a fun space to come and relax, enjoy some quality time with their friends & family, and take home a nice piece of art home at the end.
All their sessions are designed to be accessible to people with varying art experience, including those who have never painted before.
Fun fact: Their name pays homage to the world-renowned and recognised artist - Frida Kahlo. The name "Frida" also has a personal connection with one of their co-founders, who's grandmother Freda Podesta was born in Hobart in 1916. Freda lived her life to the fullest ... she loved painting, glass of wine in hand!
