? Friday at The Collective - Future ?Every Friday afternoon we will host a series of discussions and events focusing on the past, present, and future of AAV and Arts and disability.
Panel discussion and invitation to dream and scheme for the future of disability arts. Join us with a panel of young Deaf and Disabled creatives to discuss and workshop possible futures. After the panel, you can plot and scheme for the future. There will be guided discussions so you can connect with other creatives. Share what you want to make and what you want the future to be.
Panel members include Raquel Fasano, Ash Hem, Natalie Williams and Michel Spargo-Ryan with Sam Martin moderating.
Access: All events will be Auslan interpreted. The Stables are an accessible venue with accessible bathrooms. There is a quiet room. Assistance animals welcome.

For 50 years, AAV has championed disability justice and the human rights of Deaf and Disabled people through art.
The Collective digs deep into the AAV archive, highlighting projects across the decades. Witness the huge social shift from incarceration to liberation, across 50 years of practice. Discover works that are bold, uncompromising, authentic, and proud.
The exhibition includes artworks by Deaf and Disabled artists working today that respond to the archives. You can check out some of our archives right now on our website!
Join us throughout July for a journey through our past and present.
