Join us for a musical homecoming featuring contemporary Canadian works for trumpet, horn and piano. Western alumna Kiirsi Maunula Johnson, horn, and Jim Johnson, trumpet, make up the versatile duo Conspiratus Brass. They will be joined by Emilie Hsu, piano, for a special collaboration performing works by Western alumna Erica Procunier and pieces commissioned by the duo from composers Cait Nishimura and Barbara York.
