2023 Domaine du Salvard Cheverny $21.94

Cheverny is a region located in Touraine in the Loire Valley. Touraine is home to some of Loire Valley's most famous appellations for Chenin Blanc and Cabernet Franc, but the primary white grape here is Sauvignon Blanc, offering an alternative to Sancerre and Pouilly-Fume. Cheverny became an AOC in 1993, and the wines are always blends. This is 85% Sauvignon Blanc with 15% Chardonnay, a common blending partner in Cheverny. Domaine du Salvard was established in 1898 by the Delaille family. Five generations later, they are run by brothers Emmanuel and Thierry, continuing the tradition set forth by their ancestors.

2023 Chateau d'Epire Savennieres $28.94

Chateau d'Epire is one of the oldest producers in Savennieres. Savennieres is a small appellation in Anjou-Saumur planted exclusively to Chenin Blanc. It is located on the North Bank of the Loire River and due to its southern exposure to sunlight, the land is considered an unofficial Grand Cru. The winery consists of three parcels, La Croix Picot, Le Parc, and Le Hu-Boyau. Le Hu-Boyau sits adjacent to the famed La Coulée de Serrant vineyard. Chateau d'Epire has been owned by the Bizard family since the 17th century. The winery was previously a Romanesque chapel from the 12th century. This cuvee contains grapes from Le Parc and La Croix Picot. It is fermented and aged stainless steel and does not go through malolactic fermentation.

2023 Domaine Huet Vouvray Le Clos du Bourg Sec $44.94

Domaine Huet is a staple in the Loire Valley. It was founded in 1928 by Victor Huet, but it was Victor's son Gaston that brought the estate to fame for the next 55 years. He understood the relationship between land and quality, so he acquired single vineyards located on the Premiere Cote, or "first slope", the best land in Vouvray. The three single vineyard bottlings are Haut Lieu, Le Mont and Le Clos du Bourg. This is the Le Clos du Bourg Sec, a dry Chenin Blanc coming from the shallowest and stoniest soil of the single vineyards. Domaine Huet was also one of the early proponents of biodynamic viticulture in Loire Valley.

2022 Vins Gigou Coteaux du Loir Pineau d'Aunis $22.94

Pineau d'Aunis is an ancient variety of Loire Valley, and if you know, you know. It is planted almost exclusively in the Coteaux du Loir region along the Loir river, a tributary of the Loire River. The grape produces wine light in color but complex with spice and sufficient structure. Domaine Gigou was started in 1974 by Joel Gigou with the determination to make wine that people would talk about. Joel was self-taught and zoned in on the unique terroir of the Loir. The winery has been joined by his son and daughter.

2023 Jeremy Quastana Cot Lectif Loir et Cher $36.94

Jeremy Quastana worked with Marcel Lapierre, one of the "Gang of Four" members from Beaujolais dedicated to low intervention winemaking. He is located not far from Chevery in the Touraine region of Loire. His style is drinkable wines meant for early consumption made with little sulphur dioxide. This is the Cot Lectif bottle, made from Cot, AKA Malbec. It is made with techniques Jeremey learned at Marcel Lappiere. It is made with whole clusters, semi-carbonic maceration and zero sulphur.

2019 Charles Joguet Chinon Clos des Chene Vert $74.94

Charles Joguet is infamous in Chinon in the Loire Valley. His family had the winery and sold the grapes off, as was a common practice. When he left a career in art to assume the role at the family winery, he started to question this practice and thought it was sacrilegious to blend the different plots together since the soil was so distinct. Therefore, he became the pioneer of single vineyard bottlings to express the unique terroir of each vineyard. This is the Clos des Chene Vert, a monopole owned exclusively by Joguet. It is considered one of their greatest wines with one of the greatest aging potentials, considered an unofficial "Grand Cru" vineyard. It is aged for 18 months in 1–3-year-old barrels.
