Friday Sensory Morning – Baby & Toddler Play (0–5 years)

Join us each week on Friday morning for a gentle and welcoming sensory play session for babies and toddlers aged 0–5 at the Special Stars Foundation Sensory Room in Hull.

These relaxed sessions provide a calm, friendly space where little ones can explore sensory equipment, textures, lights, and sounds at their own pace. It’s a lovely opportunity for children to play, learn, and build confidence, while parents and carers enjoy special, unrushed time together.

Sensory play supports early brain development, helping to develop communication, social interaction, and emotional regulation. These sessions can be especially beneficial for children who find it hard to sit still or who have special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) — however, they are open to and enjoyed by all children aged 0–5.

Each session is self-led by parents or carers and a room can accommodate up to 4 babies at once, allowing plenty of space for you and your baby or toddler to explore sensory play.

• 🕘 Time: Every Friday at 9:30am

• ⏱️ Duration: 45 minutes

• 👶 Tickets: You pay for the child only — parents and carers attend free

• Maximum capacity of our Sensory room is 4 children at once, so choose the ticket option that suits you.
