FRIDAY NIGHTS STARTING OCTOBER 4, 2024!Greetings London and surrounding area!
After years of travelling and exploring the world of professional performance, acrobatics, film, and dance, I have decided to return to my home base city to cultivate a space where the phrase "Expression, not perfection" re-ignites itself in a much more astounding way than ever before. If you've ever been to one of my classes in the past, you'll remember that my mantra has always been 'Expression, Not Perfection.' I believe that everyone has the right to movement, whatever that means to each person. Expression in my classes is more important than the perfect facade that is wielded in today's society as a standard. Taking time for yourself, apart from the fast pace expectation that has been demanded from all of us, is something that is not only encouraged, but necessary in my classes. I have taught in London before and if I get to see your smiling faces again, I would be truly ecstatic - if you have never been to one of my classes, please kindly know you are welcomed with open arms. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY. Please read the class descriptions below and feel free to choose based on the benefits that you would gain from each class. Whether that's one class or both classes back to back (4 Class Pack or 8 Class Pack respectively or Drop-Ins for the corresponding dates).
IMPROVISATION (6:30PM - 7:30Pm) [October 4, 11, 18, & November 1 - NO CLASS Oct 25, 2024)
Do you feel obstructed by today's busy world? Do you feel a little less connected to your body than before? Would you like to re-ignite a mind-body connection that you can carry with you on AND off the dance floor (no matter the dance, no matter the place)? Then I suggest joining me at 6:30PM on Fridays - let's play, take a break, and have some fun!
JAZZ CHOREOGRAPHY (7:30PM - 8:30PM) [October 4, 11, 18, & November 1 - NO CLASS Oct 25, 2024)
The thing I love about Jazz Choreography is that it anything goes! With my choreography, we explore small movements, large movements, implement mind-body connection that you just learned in the class prior, even some sensual movements, chair choreography, and more! ALL ARE WELCOME, Take this class at your own will, dress the choreography up or dress it how you would like - all forms and interpretations are encouraged because... EXPRESSION, NOT PERFECTION is what we strive for at Camera Shaii Productions!
