About this Event
Musicians and the audience are loving the acoustics in our carefully restored 1876 heritage-listed building that started out as the first Sunday School in Adelaide and went through a variety of incarnations including The Q theatre during the 1970's.
INKLING is a unique mix of violin, mandolin and cello playing joyful, quirky and adventurous folk music. Appearing at The Q in 2023, also at Wirrina Bluegrass and Roots Festival, the Wheatsheaf Hotel, Carrick Hill, Auburn Heritage Arts, Urrbrae House Twilight Series, Mt. Lofty Music Club and numerous house concerts, INKLING is made up of talented and versatile musicians Rob Wallace (violin), Allye Sinclair (cello) and Dylan (mandolin). Many tunes are composed by the cellist, Allye while others are collected from Celtic, European and other traditions. INKLING brings a lively and sophisticated palette of sounds to the strings that will make you want to move, smile and listen close.
