About The Calm Social Club
The Calm Social Club is for those who prefer something a bit quieter and more low-key than the usual social scene.
Gatherings are intentionally small (3-6 people) and take place somewhere fairly calm in Bristol or Bath, like a cosy cafe, park or relaxed public space.
There's usually something simple to do together, like a jigsaw, cards, doodling or a tabletop game, and there's no pressure to fill any silence.
It's a gentler way to meet and connect with others.
This event
I'm Mimi and I'll be bringing a couple of tabletop games to host this event. You don't need any experience to join and the rules won't be complex at all.
Please note, I have chosen The Brew Bar because it has different sections and some parts are somewhat sectioned off. Having said that, I can't predict what noise levels will be like or how busy the venue will be on the night, so please bear this in mind.

Attendance
Because this is a very small get-together with limited spaces, please only book if you are genuinely intending to come.
If you can no longer attend, please cancel your spot as soon as you can so it can go to someone else.
A small group only really works if people turn up, so I really appreciate you treating your booking as a commitment rather than a maybe. Thank you :)

Arrival
Info: Enter Delta Hotels via the main entrance. You don't need to approach the front desk; simply make your way up the stairs in the lobby and you'll find yourself in The Brew Bar. We will usually be at one of the high tables to the left of the stairs, and there will be a sign with our logo so you can easily identify us. Come say hello, and you can order your food/drink as everyone gets settled in.

Game play
Info: We play, chat, drink/eat. It's all informal; just a chance to relax and be with others. There is no strict timing and we may decide to move onto other games at some point. The agenda just gives a rough idea of what to expect. You can leave whenever it suits you.
