October Film: O Brother, Where Art Thou? (2000)
Three prisoners working on a chain gang escape prison in the American South during the Great Depression. Ulysses Everett McGill with his fellow prisoners, Delmar and Pete, must race against the clock to get back home. Based on The Odyssey by Homer, this Coen Brothers classic uses sharp comedy and incredible music to reimagine the Greek epic.
Directed by Joel Coen and Ethan Coen. Run time: 1hr 47m. Rated PG-13.
