We would like to invite you to our evening of food and friendship while we raise money for Trans Pride.
The is deeply committed to fostering community unity and support. Comprising refugees, asylum seekers, and others who have endured the trials of forced migration, this collective actively collaborates to surmount the challenges imposed upon them by the Hostile Environment. Their collective effort aims to carve out a meaningful place for themselves within the vibrant tapestry of Brighton.
The is a project of the Self Support Group
Jollof Cafe seeks to achieve several important objectives:
1. Alleviate the pervasive loneliness often felt by migrant communities.
2. Raise funds for their destitution support initiative.
3. Shine a spotlight on the exceptional skills and mouth watering cuisines cooked by volunteer cooks from diverse corners of the globe.
The evening will be a fundraiser for the Trans Pride 2026
