**Pre-Registration is REQUIRED for this program.**Join Ranger Casey for a guided hike in the park to discover what the night life is like at the park after the sun goes down. We will walk along the Bobwhite ADA Trail at Seven Islands by the light of the moon, and discuss the nocturnal animals, including owls, insects, and bats, and other mammals that live in the park. We will look and listen for evidence of them as they emerge from their daytime hiding places. Please bring water and dress for the weather so you are prepared to walk approximately 2.5 miles on both paved and unpaved trails. We suggest that you bring flashlights in case they are needed, but ask that you only use them when necessary. Red or other colored lights are preferred.
Registered participants should plan on meeting Ranger Casey at the Bluebird Barn at the main entrance at 8:00 pm. Only registered participants will be allowed on the hike and in the park since the park closes at sunset. Registration is $10 per person (ages 6+ years).
