Dear Friday Night FUNk family,Zoom into dance with us - or join us in person at our Downey location - this Friday night with DJ Maria at 7:30pm PT, for dancing the dance of connection!
We are delighted to be branching out to new spaces and nurturing our dance anywhere and everywhere, and hope you can join us to continue to dance in the newness of this community in Downey!
Where: Zoom or In-person at 9909 Paramount Blvd, Suite A, Downey, CA. To join us virtually, head to our website at www.liquidsoulecstaticdance.com and you'll find our link at the top of our Home page.
When: Friday, August 15
Time: 7:30 - 8:30pm, with an optional community sharing circle to end the dance. Doors open at 7pm for early arrival and browsing at Sunrise Crystals. Doors close at 7:40pm. Please arrive early to help co-create our container along with our Zoom room, so that we can settle in before we begin at 7:30.
$15 suggested donation, but no one turned away for lack of funds.

Join Friday Night FUNk for our new intimate hybrid dances, operating both virtually and live in communal and personal spaces on the east side of Los Angeles.
We are an imperfect grassroots collective of diverse humans who love freeform conscious dance, each with our own take on our always funky, eclectic, bluesy vibe. Together, we co-create a safe, unconditional space to dance your way in to however you are in this moment: joyful, sorrowful, playful, ALIVE!
And now individual hosts are providing unique and very special homes for each dance - a tapestry of different, safe, unconditional space for us to gather to move our hearts and bodies to delicious playlists created for each event.
If you long to join community for conscious dance but prefer smaller, more intimate spaces and connection rather than the larger dance events, then this is especially for you.
Come discover the delight of allowing every part of your body to move however it wants. Dance alone, or with others, fast or slow, silly or serious, sexy or shy! We welcome friends and fellow dancers from across the continent and around the globe. No experience necessary, just an open heart.
