It’s summer, and Gottaswing is happy to be back at the District Wharf again! We’ll combine two of our favorite Friday night activities this summer: swing dancing and cocktails al fresco. Enjoy swing music with THE THRILLS from 7-9pm, then adjourn to any of the great restaurants and sweet treats available along the Wharf–you can make an entire night of it!
Get ready for some spine-tingling Rock 'n' Roll with THE THRILLS. The band is led by uber-talented singer-songwriter Dave Kitchen's sweet and powerful vocals, along with potent guitar work. Andy Rutherford adds his fiery, sometimes humorous guitar chops to the mix. The incredible Bill Starks on piano, Brian Alpert on drums, and John Combs on bass provide the swing ingest rhythm section around, and create a swinging engine that propels dancers onto the floor. Put it all together and you've got a band that turns heads and fills the dance floor.
