About Strummin & Drummin:
Strummin & Drummin, led by percussionist Philippe de Pontet together with Adam Applebaum on guitar and vocals, will get the party started right. With a repertoire of about 1,000 songs spread out across many genres, this duo can play it all, blending soul, R&B, pop, light rock and dance music—it’s got something for everyone.
Philippe has 3 decades of performance experience in the DMV region and his groovy hand percussion brings a special rhythmic pulse that will have audience members feeling the beat and tapping their feet (if not heading to the dance floor).
