Friday Night Ceremony: An Evening of Cacao, Hapé, and Blue Lotus
About this Event
Close out the week in ceremony and create space for what comes next.
Together, we’ll welcome the weekend by inviting Spirit through ceremony, intention, and the respectful offering of traditional plant sacraments. This intimate evening is designed to help you slow down, reconnect, and create space for reflection, presence, and meaningful connection.
Throughout the evening, ceremonial Cacao, Hapé, and Blue Lotus tea will be offered with reverence and respect for the traditions from which these practices come. Each medicine brings a different quality to the experience: Heart, Grounding, and Intuition. You are always encouraged to honor your own comfort, intuition, and choice.
Ceremonial Cacao is a gentle, heart-centered plant medicine with a long history of ceremonial use in Mesoamerican traditions. Cacao is often used to support feelings of warmth, openness, compassion, and connection. She invites us out of the thinking mind and into deeper relationship with ourselves, one another, and the world around us.
Hapé is a finely powdered preparation of Amazonian plants, traditionally made and used by Indigenous peoples of the Amazon and often containing tobacco. Served ceremonially through the nostrils, Hapé is traditionally used for grounding, clearing mental noise, deepening focus, and prayer. Its steady, direct energy can invite stillness and a greater sense of connection with self, Spirit, and intention.
Blue Lotus, a water lily associated with ancient Egyptian spiritual and ceremonial traditions, brings a softer quality to the evening. Traditionally valued for relaxation and contemplative states, it is often associated with intuition, meditation, dreamlike awareness, and gentle emotional openness.
Participants will be guided through a ceremonial experience created with intention, reverence, and care. While we hold a thoughtful framework for the evening, we intentionally leave room for Spirit to guide the experience, allowing each gathering to unfold in its own way.
Whether this is your first ceremony or one of many, you’ll be welcomed exactly as you are.
