In 2019 a set of affiliated reprobates decided to join forces to create an event on the Friday evening of the Bronte Vintage Gathering.

The Bronte Vintage Gathering doesn't start till Saturday morning, however the Old Spot Bar is always set up and has very little custom. The above reprobates saw an opportunity to raise some extra fund, therefore convinced the members of the Bronte Gathering comity to entrust them with the beer tent for the Friday evening and off they went. Months of planning and deliberations follows. Sponsors where charmed and relieved of donations, The old spot double decked bus was polished and prepped, bands were booked and pie and peas cooked.
