About this Event

Loboko is a new guitar-based dance Congolese band created in New York City. The band features the young Congolese vocalist and guitar virtuoso Yohni Djungu Sungu. Their debut 45 release on Names You Can Trust features Soukouss Stars legend and master bassist Ngouma Lokito. The group is rounded out by drummer and co-founder Morgan Greenstreet. The band is electrifying live, taking us to the streets of Kinshasa and beyond.
