Marvin Hunter discovered his passion for writing and performing comedy while serving in the U.S. Navy. Being raised in the deep South by a no-nonsense Civil Rights activist of the 1960s, having served over 20 years in the US Navy. He retired as a Hull Tech 1st. Class with multiple overseas deployments while being exposed to the absurdities of life along the way shaped Marvin’s unique sense of humor and unabashed point of view. For this reason, Marvin is known as the Grumpy Uncle (#grumpyuncle) on the comedy scene worldwide! In addition to Kevin Hart Presents: The Next Level, Marvin has previously appeared on the Mississippi episode of Kevin Hart Presents: Hart of the City on Comedy Central, Bounce TV’s Off the Chain, Comedy Dynamics: Uncontrolled Comedy TV Series, Jamie Foxx’s The Foxxhole SiriusXM Radio, The Haves and Have Nots (Season 5), the Steve Harvey Morning Show and Bounce TV’s sitcom “Last Call”. Currently, Marvin graces stages from coast to coast and can be seen on the Ricky Smiley & Friends Comedy Tour and heard on Kevin Hart’s Laugh Out Loud SiriusXM Radio.

COMEDY CLUB MAIN ENTRANCE LOCATED IN BACK OF BUILDING OFF OF PARKING LOT. Shows will be held on the lower level of The Norwood Theatre building.

— Most tables seat 4 total guests. You may be seated with strangers if your party has less than four guests.

— All shows are 17 and over. 21+ to drink.

—2-Item Minimum (soft drinks, beer, wine, and liquor)*

— 20% gratuity added to all checks.

— No dress code.

— Shows run about an hour and 15 minutes.

— Doors open 30 minutes prior to show-time. Arriving at least 15 minutes before the show is always a good idea!

— Seating is first come first serve with a strict no-call, no-show policy. Please call us if you are running late!

*The two-item minimum policy requires each guest to purchase a minimum of two items from our menu during their visit, this can include any combination of soft drinks or alcoholic beverages.
