Friday LACMA Jazz Picnic 09-11-2026

Join us for our next Jazz Picnic hang of 2026 at LACMA lawn.

Very chill and lots of fun!

But please be there no later than 5 pm if you want to be able to sit with us. It gets super crowded these days and saving space is nearly impossible without starting a riot. However, some of us will be there as early as 3:30 , if you want to beat the crowd.

PLEASE NOTE: We are in a new, less-crowded spot. It is a bit farther away from the band, but for some reason, you can hear the music better. See attached pic.

Parking at the LACMA, Academy Museum or LaBrea Tar Pits is about $15 to $20 dollars, but you can find free street parking on Fairfax north of 6th or on 6th west of Fairfax.

Here's what to bring:

- Friends.

- A ground covering or chair.

- Food and drink to share (or horde, up to you).

- A jacket for when it gets late and a bit cooler.

- Your sparkling personality.
