About this Event
Select a West African Adinkra symbol like Wisdom, Perseverance, Unity, or Love and paint the symbol in your favorite colors. The Adinkra motifs are visual symbols, originally created by the Akan of Ghana and the Gyaman of Cote d’Ivoire in West Africa, these motifs are seen in movies, like Black Panther, and represent concepts or original thoughts. The participants will be guided by an experienced artist/painter from start to finish for about 1.5 hours. You will have a wonderful time painting while listening to great music! All ages are welcome! www.TriangleCulturalArt.com
This is a great way for you to connect and celebrate with fun and friends – old and new!
NOTE: Due to Covid-19, we REQUIRE mask, sanitized the contact surfaces, hand sanitizer upon entering the space, social distancing 6 ft, and we have 2 air purifiers that clean the entire space every 2 hours. In addition, we are performing thermometer head scans.
