Join us July 10th at the Sioux Falls Food Co-op from 4-7 pm to ‘Meet Your Farmer’ & celebrate fresh South Dakota grown vegetables!
Guests will meet area farmers & Co-op board members, enjoy veggie painting and a build your own kabob bar, and more!
The Co-op will also host their $5 community dinner during the event which will feature in-season ingredients such as cucumbers, green beans and leafy salad greens!
This ‘Fresher is Fun’ event is the sixth of eight retail events in the state promoting the purchasing of South Dakota grown specialty crops. Two additional Fresher is Fun events will occur in August 2024 in Nisland and Rapid City.
The event is sponsored by the S.D. Specialty Producers Association through the Specialty Crop Block Grant program overseen by the S.D. Dept. of Agriculture and Natural Resources.
