In this 2.5-hour hands-on culinary workshop, students will learn the art of making Spinach and Ricotta Ravioli from scratch. Guided by an instructor, the class covers everything from developing the perfect pasta dough to crafting a flavorful filling and a classic butter sauce.

Class Highlights
- Mastering the Dough: Learn the science behind gluten development and elasticity for perfectly tender pasta
- Artisanal Filling: Watch the preparation of a traditional spinach and ricotta filling, featuring fresh aromatics like nutmeg and garlic
- The Ravioli Technique: Gain hands-on experience using a pasta machine to roll thin sheets, then learn professional techniques for spacing, sealing, and cutting your ravioli to prevent bursting
- The Perfect Finish: Watch a demonstration on creating a brown butter, sage, and garlic sauce to perfectly complement your handmade pasta
Class Schedule
- Introduction (15 mins): Welcome, instructor introduction, and access to snacks and beverages.
- Dough Making Demonstration (15 mins): Through a demonstration, learn the fundamentals of pasta making, the importance of kneading and resting the dough, and the different flours that can be used
- Filling Preparation Demonstration (30 minutes): Through a demonstration, learn how to wilt fresh spinach and blend with creamy ricotta and specialty cheeses
- Break (10 mins): Leg stretch and beverage refills at the refreshment station.
- Student Assembly (50 minutes): Hands-on experience rolling, filling, and sealing your ravioli into uniform squares
- Sauce Demo & Service (30 minutes): Watch a demonstration on how to prepare a simple and delicious sage butter sauce. Relax while your pasta is cooked, then enjoy your creation tossed in a fresh butter sauce
Amenities Included
- Refreshments: Access to a snack counter including house-made non-alcoholic drinks, charcuterie and fruit skewers, a dessert, and a Keurig coffee station.
- Tools & Equipment: Class aprons and all necessary cooking tools needed to prepare this dish in class.
- Recipes: Every student receives the recipes used in class so this delicious dish can be recreated at home.
- Meal: Each student will be served a full plate of the dish prepared in class.
Notes:
- Tickets are NON-REFUNDABLE! If you are unable to attend the class, you may transfer the ticket to another person. Tickets are not transferable to another class.
- Doors will open 10 minutes before listed class start time. Students wishing to grab seats together are encouraged to arrive when doors open, otherwise we cannot guarantee reserved seating regardless if tickets were purchased together or not.
