Welcome the season with a front porch that stops traffic! In this hands-on class, you'll design and build your own festive container arrangement using fresh evergreens and decorative stems, and leave with a showpiece ready for your doorstep.
What you'll learn:
• The classic "thriller, filler, spiller" formula for full, balanced pots
• How to layer fresh cut evergreens like cedar, pine, fir, and magnolia
• Tips for placing decor stems (berries, pinecones, ornaments, branches, and more) for height and texture
• How to anchor your arrangement so it holds up to wind, weather, and wear
• Simple care tricks to keep your greenery fresh through the holidays
What's included: All fresh greens, decorative stems, and embellishments, plus guidance from your instructor throughout. Bring your own container, or a plastic to go one will be provided for you.
Who it's for: All skill levels welcome. No experience needed, just a love of the holidays and a willingness to get a little sappy.
Bring: Gloves, hand pruners (if you have them), and feel free to bring your own urn or pot filled with soil. Dress for a hands-on, slightly messy good time!
