About Alliance Française Halifax
Founded in 1903, Alliance Française Halifax is a Canadian not-for-profit association dedicated to the promotion of the French language and of French speaking cultures. Our association is part of the Alliance Française Foundation, the world’s largest network of French language schools and cultural centers.
Located in the historical Hydrostone district of Halifax, our centre is one of nine Alliances Françaises present in Canada. Nationwide, the Alliance Française network provides training to over 12 000 students annually and our Halifax location is considered the best French as a second language (FSL) school in the province.
