This is a 2 part course over two weeks where you'll learn how to make 3D glass decorations using silicone moulds which you'll then use in the second week to create a unique candle curve or double S curve.
During the first class, Cindy will guide you in making your own colourful cast glass pieces from a huge selection of moulds available in a variety of themes. These pieces will be fired and ready for you to use in the second week. You will have the choice of a single candle curve (approx. 12cm x 21cm) or an S curve (approx. 11cm x 24cm).
These items will then be fired twice and will be available for collection around 7-10 days after. If you cannot collect, they can be posted at cost. However, this is at your own risk as breakages cannot be covered.
You will be welcome to keep any small castings you make but don't use in your final piece. These can be used as greeting card toppers, fridge magnets or finished into jewellery etc.
All tools and materials are provided, although if you have your own small silicone moulds from other crafts, you are welcome to bring them to see if they are suitable.
The only limit on the theme of your finished piece is your imagination! Floral, woodland, underwater world, winter scenes............the possibilities are endless.
