The Freedom Gala is more than a celebration it’s a declaration that human trafficking AND Exploitation has no place in our city or our world. It’s an evening where compassion meets action, and where ordinary people come together to make an extraordinary impact.Hosted by Overcomers and Empowered Girls, this inspiring event fuels our mission to provide safe housing, education, and empowerment for women and girls who have survived human trafficking and exploitation.

A life-changing exhibit that immerses guests in the realities of modern-day slavery — and the hope of freedom
Auction, raffle, prizes, and dinner show supporting programs that restore dignity and independence
Your presence and participation directly help survivors rebuild their lives — from trauma care and job readiness, to housing and holistic support.
🎯 Our Goal: To raise $150,000 to expand housing needs, hire much needed staff, mentorship, and advocacy for women and girls in Western New York and around the nation.
